It’s a new day over at our #HamOnt Innovation Factory, and let me be one of the first to announce¸ that Scott Smith, BA LLB is the new replacement COO for our soon-to-depart Keanin Loomis who will move to run the Chamber here in just one week.
For those of you who do not know Scott, I would like to offer the following information to let you know what a great choice this was – and what I think it will mean for the future of our Innovation Factory.
What was billed as Amanda Lang versus #HamOnt and how we panelists were to defend our community’s honour when it comes to innovation and productivity somehow still happened – but not with Amanda Lang.
Delayed we were told, so she wouldn’t be available for the live stream WebCast, meant that the whole show might have collapsed…except not quite. Our own CBCHamilton reporter Julia Chapman who was the driving force and facilitator for this national show stepped up – and boy did she ever!
It’s not often – in fact never before, have I ever given up my “soapbox” here at canuckseo.com for anyone else to use…till today.
