Our regular readers here will know, that I very much enjoy/follow/put-up-on-a-pedestal the folks over at Chitika and their research into the search world, using their own index of millions of pages. (disclaimer – we do no biz with Chitika, nor do we have any mutual clients etc. etc. – I just like their research is all!)
Chitika, for those of you who may be newbies to same, is a data analytics company in the business of on-line advertising – “…through the application of data and innovative technology in the fields of mobile, local and search Chitika has developed a vast global network that maximizes yield for both publishers and advertisers…” is how they identify themselves and once again, I’m beholding to them!
Seems to me, that there may be something here & here, fresh from Chitika, to consider if you’re an SEO practitioner who works with E-Commerce sites, client sites, association/member sites….all sites in fact – and that something is just like I’ve always thought – Windows rules!
What we all know about SEO Campaigns, is that if you optimize for anyone — it’s Go0gle, eh! That is about one of the most basic foundational aspects of understanding how an SEO Campaign needs to be developed…..Google is #1!
That said, and yes, this is a bit outside the norm I’d admit — the newly combined index/algo that runs both BING and Yahoo, is an opportunity waiting to be siezed and this was brought to our own attention from the folks over at Chitika!
