Fab Friday Infographics on Promoting your Just Published Blog Post!
It’s Fab Friday again and I’m thinking as always that perhaps it might be time (I do this about once-a-quarter) to review my own post-blog-publishing procedures just to see if anthing might have changed out there in the web-O-sphere. So when I googled for ‘how to promote your blog post’ a ton of infographics came up early so yup, I went and looked over I think the first 23 pages.
And there’s hope for my own procedures which is great - but there a couple of new “twists” too that I’d not have thought of – so I thought I’d share same with all for your own SMB blog site to aid your own Canadian SEO Campaign!
First up today, is a nice infographic from a site I’d not heard of over at www.howtomakemyblog.com and it’s entitled “My Content Marketing Routine After Publishing A Post” and while it starts with an infographic, there’s like a long list after same that recaps still other items for consideration too!
Note too, that the author also comments that he has a “normal” list – and then a “special” list too for only some selected posts….and he also notes that “finding people and helping them…” is the way to go about building your readership too!
Here’s how the author puts same right off the bat –
“This is my post-publish content marketing routine. This is what I do to drive traffic to my site. I hope it inspires you to make your own distribution routine. You should make it a habit and do it after publishing each and every post. It is your job to distribute your content wherever you can and this will help increase your reach and audience. Aim to spend 50% of your time creating the content, and the other 50% promoting that content…”
As you can tell, he offers that he promotes his blog posts with the same time it took him to create same. THINK on that for a minute or two….50/50…do you do that? If not, how do you expect folks to find your expert content….remember that was a movie where some idiot said “if you build it they will come” because to come to your site they gotta KNOW about your site…so the promotion as you can tell is so so important! Kudos to the site for this…it’s pretty well done and yup, I got a tip from same that I’d not considered too…so for me alone that’s a great infographic, eh!
Next up today is a nice solid infographic piece from again, a site I’d never heard of either – www.launchgrowjoy.com - and while it’s aesthetically not my ‘cup-of-tea’ type of site the info contained in same is dang solid.
The piece is entitled “30 Ways to Promote your Blog Posts” and it’s captured perfectly again, the issue about promotion and why that is such a necessary part of what each and every single blogger needs to consider to make their content available – and top-of-mind too!
And yes, it notes too the same comment I already made about “building it and then WON’T come…” so I’d surmise that this is true for all bloggers! Really. Think on that for a minute. If they can’t find you, your top-notch content sits there, unexposed, unread, unknowen by all.
Surely that’s not something any of us want for our blog posts…and the author here makes a solid request to consider same, eh!
And lastly today, is a CopyBlogger piece – yup, that www.copyblogger.com site where some of the really great marketing content comes outta….yup, the site is the creation of Brian Clark a very well known and respected serial entrepreneur, author, blogger and yes, his content is exquisite!
This piece is on the “how” to create that great content with a “minor” on the promotion of same. Entitled “11 Essential Ingredients Every Blog Post Needs…” it drills the top 11 ideas right into your brain! Everything from crafting that “magnetic” headline to “telling a seductive story” are covered – and covered very very well too, eh!
Do read same. Then drill down all over the site and read everything. Take a week off to consume this content-laden site – then another week to try to put it all in perspective for you and your own needs…..this site is a great resource, eh! So do take the time to make it a daily read! Kudos Brian….great to let others know about your skillSet lad!
