funnel-2We have talked here on our Canadian SEO blog about how to generate leads for your SMB business quite a few times over the past few years and if it’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that for the vast majority of SMB owners, our advice has barely broken through the clutter of other voices all vying for attention. That’s bad. We know that this cacaphony of marketing voices is just too too much to wade through to try to find the “meat & potatoes” that a business owner needs to sup on, to succeed.

Say you want to know more about “Lead Generation” for example…and you google for it and yup, guess what….yup, there’s HubSpot at #3 on the web results page with a link to their huge – and I mean HUGE – library of resources, knowledge, templates, eBooks, forms, landing page templates etc etc all available to you via a simple fill in form. Yes, the form will enable them to contact you and ask if you’d like more info, if you’d like to get associated links to other resources and even yes, if you’d like to take part in their 30 day free trial of their specialized software.

If you’re like me, when you’re sourcing knowledge, you get quite familiar with that kind of a lead generation type tool and the choice about what to do with same is of course up to you. Us? No, we’re not subscribers of HubSpot and their services as we’re not looking for that kind of a product – but we have strongly recommended that a few of our clients do look into same, and a couple have done just that.

But what really strikes us as important, with the HubSpot approach to their marketing offerings is that they’re good. Solid. Pragmatic. Empiracally proven. Tested.

So if you want then to generate more leads to your own SMB site, then HubSpot can surely help, eh!
