Tuesday is Infographic Day this Week!
Well, for us the first thing we usually have to tell a client is that what they’ve heard, read and seen bandied about when it comes to SEO tactics is usually old, dated and not so true any more.
Past their best-before-date is the way I think of same, and if you think about it too…then you’d realize that what works today was just tested and validated.
It’s not years or for that matter even many months old…we Canadian SEO practitioners learn every day what works and doesn’t anymore and we know as test everything. If you’ve not even as yet heard about the big changes to Google branded as their “Hummingbird” algo change then stay tuned…we’re testing it right now and will report on same soon!
Down the left hand side are listed the “old” tactics and the right hand side shows the changes to same….not always a real true difference, I’d add…but surely a new way of thinking on same.
Note for me what they have to say about Link Buiding vs Link Earning…nicely put! Kudos to these guys for this short-but-sweet infographic, eh!
And yes this does help a bit for those SMB owners who absolutely KNOW SEO…sigh…and should be required reading for all, eh!
The second infographic for today is over at the www.socialproofcreative.com site and is entitled “Social Proof – The Art of Influence Marketing” and boy is it a good read too, eh!
This one outlines again, for those who believe in the weight of the value you believe you’ve found when you hear that this group or that group is “doing” this or that. It’s like an alert that hey, some folks are doing this certain type/kind of SEO tactic and you’re not…hmmmm….might you be missing out on something would be the first thought.
It’s a lively look at that kind of “social proof” that one believes exists when you find that this may be happening….like hey have you heard about this brand new Club or driven this new brand of car. Marketing is varied for sure…but this infographic does try to show you just how such thoughts begin…and how to learn from same.
Again well worth the click/thur and Kudos to that creative team for this!
And the line “the only way for businesses to rise above the noise and succeed is to make it easy!” Great note here, eh!Google
