Friday Infographic RoundUp: Some Good Ones eh!
First up, is a great one entitled “Sensible Social Media Checklist” from the folks over at thewholebraingroup.com and it’s a very sensible list indeed.
What’s a checklist you’re thinking and the answer of course is a simple form that allows you to NOT forget what you put down on the list to begin with – and yes as you get busy and then even more busy, you can often forget what it is that you’ll need to do next.
So if you find yourself stumped at the prospect of using social media marketing to promote your business, this simple guide can help. Follow their easy suggestions to create a consistent social media internet marketing presence on multiple channels.
Enter this great social media checklist and yes, it covers the top social media outlets on the web…Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIN and Google+ to begin with and yes it gives you numbers to consider and goals to set. Works, simply put and I liked it enough to send it to a couple of our own clients, eh!
Again this year, I could not make the big MOZCON show out west that moz.com runs for the SEO world….sigh….it is and has been the one Conference that I’m so far just unable to find the time to get to – but not to worry. This next infographic captures the “essence” of that big SEO meetup and shows same in a great visual way and it’s entitled “Trends & Buzzwords from Mozcon 2013″ and yes, I would have loved to have gotten same first-hand.
But not to worry…as this capture of same done by the folks at 97thfloor.com was done and they weren’t there either but they got all that info via a special tool that then made to track the whole Conference….and it looks like they about got it spot-on, eh!
Do read same. Moz.com is the old seomoz group of SEO types, led by Rand Fishkin and I actually have a couple of friends there on staff….so it’s well worth clicking to see what the most used SEO terms/buzzwords were at this meetup. Note, you should make sure that you scroll down to see the various captures of the top most items from some of the guest speakers…I especially loved what Pete Myers had to say….as I know him from his UI experiences! #Kudos and well worth the click, eh!
And then last but not least, is the final Friday infographic on WordPress and how to ensure that you’re at least getting some basic SEO on-page and on-site optimizations begun. Is that easy? No. Is it all one needs to do? No. But….this infographic at least can get you started.
Entitled “SEO Checklist for Your WordPress Blog,” it is a start as I said but do do do take a full read on same.
But also do be careful as some of the items listed can be critical if you make a mistake…like making a change to the blog URLs can lead down a path that can mean that your archives get un-indexed…something that no one would want. And then there’s their own #1 item that appears to preach to use EMD process…which us SEO practitioners know is losing “heft” weekly…but on the whole the list is okay for a beginner to both WordPress and SEO to start with…
So read and digest all the various factors listed – and at the end of the infographic note that the folks over at techmagnate.com have also added in a short end list of “other features” to be considered. Read that. Google for what you don’t understand etc as they are just as important as the previous information too!Google
