Thoughts on the 2013 Big DiFizen of the Year Award…
The Big DiF evening, held by our own Innovation Factory is tomorrow night…and as my Outlook notice popped up today to remind me of that event – it got me thinking…
As you may know, the Innovation Factory has a big annual celebration of innovation here in Hamilton, called “The Big DiF” event and it’s held near the end of March each year – the one tomorrow evening is our 3rd Annual Big DiF gala, held right here at McMaster Innovation Park in the Atrium.
And as you may already know, that last year I was the winner of the 2012 Mark Chamberlain DiFizen of the Year award - a total surprise, and I blogged about same right here….
And the event itself can still be attended if you click here and Register for free ticket to come and be a part of the celebration of innovation here in Hamilton too! As an event to meet and network with the “powers that be” in our city with regards to innovation and local businesses….there is no better event held in our city!
But, that’s really not what I wanted to comment on here in this blog post….
What I wanted to note was that tomorrow night, a brand new award recipient will be awarded the 2013 Mark Chamberlain DiFizen of the Year award…and I’m so so so proud to see that this tradition will be carried on.
That the award winner more – and I do mean MORE – than deserves this honor….our city has momentum in the innovation space due in a large part IMHO as a result of this award winner’s passion.
Please do click on the links above. Please do go to tomorrow nights Big Dif event….and help honor our best and brightest. It’s a part of what we Hamiltonians all need to do…and I’ll be there to give my own KUDOs to the award winner too!
See you there!Google
