A Couple of Friday week-ending Things…
Hello all…and yes, I know that I’m more than a bit late for todays week-ending blog piece…but we’ve been pretty busy with all the start-ups, mentoring, coaching and yes, we’ve also begun the Xmas season with last nite’s big party at McMaster Innovation Park with our own Innovation Factory Holiday Soiree!
And I had fun. No two ways about it….I met lots of start-ups that I’ve coached or mentored or who’ve taken our own “Go-To-Market” seminars and chatted with them all!
Over a glass or two of red wine of course…but nevertheless this Soiree with more than 400 or so folks was surely (so far at least) THE holiday party of the year! Twinkly little lights and servers with trays of scrumptious hors d’oeuvres is the way to this online marketers heart…and I was definitely a happy Canuck SEO practitioner last night for sure!
That said just one big tip for you online marketers….on conversion, which can be defined as the process whereby a sales lead moves “into” your sales funnel and moves down lower to become a new customer/client via that conversion processs. Not really a very tough concept to grab ahold of….but when you ask clients or potential clients who their own Chief Conversion Officer is – you just get a blank stare.
