DIY Canadian Citations: Our 2011 Update!
Yup, time I think today to update our list of working Canadian Citations for all of our Canuck DIY SEO readers and the list has grown, eh!
As we commented before on the original source of our then shorter list, it came from David Mihm, the well known and respected Local Search expert whose own practice has grown to include his #LocalUniversity conferences, his getlisted.org site for us Canucks and then there’s his definitive study and survey on all things Local that is published each year that is here and that TOO needs a click to see what the SEO community as a whole ranks for better client serps too, eh!
So here’s our latest list, updated just a week ago or so…note, that they’re in no particular order….so take a gander at who “works” up here in Canadian SEO, eh!
As you can see…we now number 35 Canadian citations that can get you traction up here in google.ca land….and we use them all, every day, to get our clients that traction too! We’ve been testing them, tracking them and ranking them all….and for our money, they all add “something” to your Local Search serps….some of course are better than others and you’ll note that the list does not have the big 3 social media players – Faceboo, Twitter and LinkedIN included…as you need to use a whole different strategy for those ones, eh!
But as a simple place to start….as a helpful guide to local directories and citation sites to use, this is exactly where you start, eh!
